Seal of Apostle Tim Harrell, Sr.The seal of the Apostle is the visible sign of the Lord’s Church and its origin can be traced back to the days of the early Church, when symbols were employed to designate the jurisdiction of an Episcopate. It represents Christian Unity of all Covenanting Communions through its insignia “The Ecumenical (Universal) Christian Covenant Fellowship.” The seal authenticates the authority conferred upon those who represent and are subject to the Lord Jesus Christ. Our Pastor is in a long line of apostolic succession. This succession is indeed spiritual, and this elevation to the Office of Apostle is declared by the ensign set forth.
The Shield of Faith consumes a large part of the Seal of Apostle Tim Harrell, Sr. The Shield of Faith represents the Apostle’s belief, dependency, and trust in God through the Lord Jesus Christ. For by grace we are save through faith, not by works less any man should boast but it is the gift of God. For without faith it is impossible to please God. Through faith the Apostle Tim Harrell, Sr. has established four ministries that have been engraved upon this shield of faith. The shield is divided into four parts (by the mark of the cross) like the gospels: The upper left-hand portion of the shield is engraved with the ensign of Celebrating Truth Ministries Fellowship (CTM). CTM being the first of four ministry heads birthed through the Apostle Tim Harrell, Sr., under the anointing and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. God spoke to Apostle Tim Harrell, Sr. and instructed him to start a church built on the truth of God’s Word. God instructed the Apostle to fashion the church after his character, with celebration and fellowship. Apostle Tim Harrell Sr. and Pastor LaRose Harrell opened the doors of CTM in Virginia Beach, VA in 2002. Under the instruction of the Holy Spirit they opened a second CTM in Hampton, Virginia in 2008. CTM is a place where many receive the phenomenal teachings of the Apostolic Doctrine of the Church of Jesus Christ. In 2007 the Holy Spirit inspired Apostle Tim Harrell, Sr. to start a leadership academy focused on training the leaders of the church. The leadership academy has been properly named the School of Apostolic Leadership Training (S.A.L.T.) and is held annually by CTM. The CTM church ensign shows that the church’s foundation is built upon the Word of God. The upper right-hand portion of the shield is engraved with the ensign of Tim Harrell Global Ministries (THGM). The ensign is the globular replica of the world and it show’s the Apostle’s commitment to fulfilling the mandate of the great commission. The Holy Spirit inspired the Apostle and he birthed his second ministry in 2006. Tim Harrell Global Ministries exist to reach the world abroad, through outreach, preaching, teaching, television evangelistic broadcast, and Christian networking. The lower left-hand portion of the shield is engraved with the ensign of the Network of Independent Pastors Association (N.I.P.A.). It is one circle, containing three circles that are intertwined. It is the replica of Christian Unity where the main circle (Christ) contains the three circles of Love, Faith, and Hope. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 encourages and stresses the value of friendship and unity, with the focal point coming in verse 12 that states, “A threefold cord is not easily broken.” The Holy Spirit inspired the Apostle to birth NIPA, his third ministry in 2007. NIPA is composed of independent pastors who are committed to work in concert with each other and support each other through sharing and networking, to build and enrich the Body of Christ. The lower right-hand portion of the shield is engraved with the ensign of Kingdom Family Network (KFN). There is a fortress built around the Kingdom Family Network and it is representative of the spiritual covering provided by the Apostle Tim Harrell, Sr. to the churches within the KFN. In 2008, the Holy Spirit inspired the Apostle to start a ministry that provides a spiritual covering for churches, pastors, par-church organizations, and businesses. KFN exists to disciple pastors, spiritual leaders, and business owners to build and strengthen the body of Christ. Behind the Shield of Faith is the Crozier, the symbol of the Pastoral Leadership, which is expected of those who have this peculiar calling. It represents the shepherd’s leadership, an ability to find and yoke lost sheep in the wilderness of sin. The authority of the shepherd of the flock is once again validated by the Rod and Staff that comforts the Apostle, pastors and the people given to his holy care. Thus the Mission of our Apostle by Holy Spirit empowerment is to preach and teach the Word of God, leading people to a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ through faith. Furthermore, the Apostle, by example, is to function as the Chief Pastor in the midst of God’s people. It is symbolic of the one given to Moses as he was exiled from Egypt and it is the symbol of authority and strength. The Cross of Christ is at the base of the Crozier and it represents the burden that the Apostle must carry for the people entrusted under his authority. Also, located behind the Shield of Faith are two swords equally sharp. One sword represents the Word of God which according to Hebrews 4:12, “Is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword.” The second sword represents the mouth of the Apostle who has been granted the authority to speak as God, to declare and to decree under the power and anointing of the Holy Ghost. The Apostle Peter demonstrated this authority in Acts 2, verses 13-39, as he propelled the children of Israel to accept Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul spoke with the same boldness and authority in several letters published in the New Testament. In addition, the swords represent the Apostle’s readiness for battle and willingness to wage war on the enemy of God. The red background in the Apostle’s Seal is indicative of the saving power of the Blood of Christ. Ephesians 1:7 states, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” The Blood of Christ will give the Apostle his strength from day to day and it will never lose its power. The Blood of Christ encourages the Apostle to remain consistent in ministries and to sacrifice with a sacrificial love as Christ did. The outer portion of the Apostle’s Seal is the ring of the Apostle. It indicates the Apostle’s covenant commitment to the body of Christ. The ring symbolizes the Apostle’s marriage to the ministries that God entrusted in him. The ring is marked with the Bishop’s Mitre. This liturgical headdress has points that symbolize the Cloven Tongues on the Heads of the Apostles on the Day of Pentecost. It is symbolic of the Holy Spirit’s Endowment (Acts 2), and heralds them as princess of the Lord’s Church. The ring is also marked with two world globes, symbolizing the Apostle’s commitment to world outreach ministries. Finally, the Apostle’s Seal is shaped like an eye to remind the Apostle that God is watching him, for 1 Peter 3:12 state, “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” The Apostle must lead with the prophetic eye of God and see as Gods sees and perceive as God perceives. The Apostle’s eye must always be used to advance the Kingdom of God and to see the future of God’s people so that he can guide them in the present.
